Warranty

General warranty guidelines:
Should our cabinetry fail during the applicable warranty period due to defects in material or workmanship under normal use, at our discretion, we will repair or provide the parts necessary to replace the defective products.

This warranty does not cover products which are misused, abused, mishandled, improperly installed, improperly stored, modified, moisture or heat-related damage, normal wear and tear, or acts of God. This warranty is not valid for products used for any purpose other than the purpose for which they were originally intended. This warranty does not cover the cost of installation, removal, subsequent damage, or transportation of the defective product, regardless of whether the work was performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself.

Should defects in material or workmanship exist during warranty period, we will elect at its discretion to either repair or replace free of charge the defective material or component, excluding labor costs. This warranty covers only parts and materials supplied by Custom Woods Design, and do NOT cover costs for removal or reinstallation of cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, appliances or related materials, or labor costs. Natural and environmental factors will affect cabinet products over time; therefore, we cannot be held responsible for replacement product that may not exactly color-match installed product.

Unfinished product is not covered under this warranty.

Five year limited warranty on cabinets:
Custom Woods Design, Inc warrants the cabinet material not to peel, crack, wrinkle, blister or delaminate, and to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.

Fading and weathering of the surface will naturally occur over time and are not considered warrantable defects. To restore the cabinet’s appearance, refer to proper care and maintenance instructions as outlined in the Cabinet Care Guide.

Five year limited warranty on drawers, drawer guides and hardware:
All drawers manufactured, drawer guides and hinges used by Custom Woods Design are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home/commercial business where installed . These warranties are not transferable to subsequent owners.

Warranty summary:
This warranty is the exclusive warrant of Custom Woods Design and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. In no event shall we be liable for consequential, indirect or incidental damages resulting from installation, use or failure of its product.
